The Greenwheels charging card does not work outside the Netherlands. For charging abroad, it’s smart to bring at least two charging cards. Not every charging station accepts the same card, and not all chargers accept a debit or credit card. A back-up saves hassle.
We recommend the ANWB charging card and the Shell Recharge card because of their good coverage across Europe. Also download the corresponding apps, so you can find suitable charging points and start charging sessions with your phone.
Good to know: you can claim the charging costs in your account after your trip. Make sure to keep your receipts or invoices.
