Am I insured if something happens to the car during my trip?

All our cars are insured, including passenger accident insurance. This also applies abroad. So you can hit the road with peace of mind: damage to third parties and injuries to passengers are covered. Please note: belongings you take with you in the car (including your travel items) are not covered by this insurance. Check your personal travel insurance for that.

Is there an emergency or damage? Find a safe place for yourself (and the car, if possible). In urgent situations, always call 112 first (the emergency number in 50 European countries + the UK), and then contact our customer service via (+31) 010 7933 970. We also provide roadside assistance abroad.

Please note: in case of an accident abroad, you may be asked for proof of car insurance. This is also known as the ‘green card’. If this happens, contact us via +31 10 7933 970. We can send the details to the relevant insurer or police station.
